CHRISTOPHER SALIS AND HIS VISION TOWARDS GROWTH

The world today is filled with competition, and almost every person focuses on their personal goals. However, there are still some people who believe in guiding, motivating, and leading others towards a mutual goal. One such person is Christopher Salis, a start-up advisor, and tech industry veteran.

With an extensive experience of over two decades, Christopher Salis has become a reputed name for leading several companies towards their growth. After completing his education from Purdue University, he joined Adecco Employment Services.

At Adecco, he effectively supervised the IT Procurement Program for global corporate operations and 700 branch locations. He took care of the selection and management process of the complete IT supplier base. Salis also handled the strategic partners and vendors.

After bringing the excellent results to Adecco, he went on to use his potential at Gap Inc., where he managed the Strategic Sourcing. Christopher has also worked with eBay as the manager for Procurement and Operational Excellence. He has also built up a good record of working with SAP companies for nearly a decade.

Apart from being an excellent and dedicated part of the companies he has worked with, Christopher has also advised several start-ups. For them, he made use of philosophies such as Lean Start-up and David Allen’s (GTD) Getting Things Done method.

Salis strongly believes that for any company nothing is as precious as its employees. With such thoughts and viewpoints, he has constantly guided his colleagues and team members to put together their efforts towards a common goal.

Another distinct quality of Salis that separates him from everyone is his ability to view every situation in life as an opportunity. He thinks that they can be perfectly used as a lesson and that is why he never leaves any chance to discover anything new.

Outside his working place, he is a father of two young sons. Not only he enjoys being a parent, but he also likes to use his experience to guide other people with the challenges parenthood has. He adores the time he spends with his family and looks forward to helping others do so.

The record he has built with his services and leadership skills describes him as a visionary and charismatic leader. No matter if it is about leading the companies he has worked with or guiding people working with him, Christopher Salis has never failed to bring exemplary results.

Standing Out from the Crowd, Says Christopher Salis

My father surely affected my career direction. Our dinner chats frequently focused on leadership, people management, and strategic boardroom discussions. His ideas gave me tremendous exposure to senior leadership dynamics, which influenced my path to becoming a SAP specialist myself.    However, my interest in technology was piqued during my time at Purdue University, where I was steeped in a culture of technical innovation. It was then that I fell in love with the limitless potential of technology. Participating in a Melinda Gates-sponsored study that investigated the convergence of computer interfaces and human interaction was a transformative experience. Though our plans for making interfaces more social could not completely materialize owing to technological limitations at the time, they gave me a peek into technology's revolutionary potential in many aspects of life.    Following this insight, I pursued a career in software, motivated by the belief that techno...
