Christopher Salis: A Profound Leader

Leadership is not only about being perfect at your work, it is also about teaching and guiding others to bring out the best in them. With similar qualities, Christopher Salis has developed an extensive experience of two decades guiding and encouraging people working with him. Here is how he has been able to redefine the term ‘leader.’

Christopher Salis is a tech industry veteran and a start-up advisor who has earned a good reputation for elevating the performances of organizations he has worked with.  He started his career with Adecco Employment Services as an IT Procurement Manager and worked with this firm for more than two years.

Later on, he joined Gap Inc., where he managed strategic sourcing for nearly five years. Chris Salis has also applied his insights at Business Objects for nearly four years. Here, he began as a senior manager for Procurement and Strategic Sourcing, and with his continuous efforts, he was able to serve as the Executive Director.

He has also worked with SAP for nearly six years, where he upturned the declining revenue and raised the SaaS revenue for four times.  Apart from big corporations, Salis has also elevated productivity among startups with (GTD) Getting Things Done method by David Allen and lean startup philosophy.

Throughout his career, Chris Salis has motivated and guided several teams. He firmly believes that employees are the most valuable asset for a business. He sees them as the supporting pillars of every organization. Due to reasons like these, he has always directed them to utilize their efforts for a common constructive aim.

He spreads optimism through his thoughts and ideologies with others and sees it as an opportunity to help others. Other than this, he holds a distinct perception towards difficult situations, he sees them as an opportunity to learn something new.

He applies these concepts beyond the boundaries of his office too. Talking of his personal life, Chris Salis is a father and that’s how aware of the challenges parenthood comes with. He thus shares his experiences with others to help them deal with issues they would face as a parent.

Such distinct qualities have made Christopher Salis a recognized and expert tech industry veteran, a motivating advisor to start-ups, and a distinguished leader. Along with supporting these ideologies, he also criticizes dishonest practices, including activities such as insider trading, trickery, and embezzlement.
